About Us

My name is James Boelter and I am the owner/operator of x-men extreme waterfowl. I have 30 plus years of experience of hunting and 5 years of experience as a guide. I have a vast knowledge of hunting waterfowl, deer, turkey, and pheasants. Because of my love of hunting and the fact that I would like to share the things I have learned over the years, I decided to start this company. My hope is that through my business I can encourage those who already hunt to make it their passion, and to help others, young and old alike see the beauty hunting can bring to their lives as well.

Each of my guides are not only known for their guiding skills, but for their professionalism and congeniality. The guides all pay close attention to detail and are happy to offer any additional assistance they can to all of our hunters.

About the Guides

Mitch Nehlich is from Aberdeen, South Dakota. He has been hunting waterfowl for about 10 years, and has been guiding for 4 years. Although Mitch enjoys hunting waterfowl, he does hunt pheasants, deer and rifle hunts turkey. Over the past many years Mitch has learned and is able to identify numerous other migratory birds that are native to the Missouri, Nebraska, and South Dakota areas.

Danny Malloy grew up in Sioux City, Iowa. He spent much of his time hunting near the Vermillion area. Danny has 40 plus years of hunting experience, and 15 years of guiding experience. His passion is for waterfowl hunting, but he also does deer, pheasant, and rifle hunting for turkey. Danny is a professional musician, and has always had a major passion for music. He has been married for 35 years and has 3 children. Danny now resides in Omaha, Nebraska.

Korey Boelter is my son and has been hunting with me since he was 6 years old. His first kill was when he was 8 years old. He killed 2 turkeys at one time. He has grown in to an astute young hunter. He loves to hunt waterfowl as well as bow hunting turkeys.

Eric Kilberg is an avid waterfowl hunter, has been hunting for about 30 years. Eric has done guiding for about 10 years. In addition to waterfowl he also hunts deer and turkey. His attitude towards hunting is absolutely contagious as you will find when hunting with him.
