Starting 2025 we began offering pit blind spring Snow good hunts in Nebraska! We have added this location to our vast portfolio of hunts to accommodate hunters throughout the Midwest. This brand new Kohler 6 gun pit blind with dog box is conveniently located between Lake Wanahoo in Wahoo, NE and the Platte River, near Colon, NE. This area sees millions of birds each and every year, making it the perfect spot to hunt! This location is offered from mid-February to mid-March, just in time for the migration from south to north!
We will hunt in Nebraska from the middle of February through the middle of March. This will allow time for the adult and juvenile Snow geese to head north. A typical day will include meeting at the Pit in the morning or the night before. We will have a variety of recommended Airbnbs and lodging that will accommodate any group. We will be in the field all day, taking as many or few breaks as clients like. We will wrap up the hunt at a half past sunset.

Lake Wanahoo Camping and Cabins
Lake Wanahoo offers a variety of small cabins and campsites if you want to bring your own camper! You can be at the Pit in just 5 minutes!
Spencer Hill Cabins
Spencer Hill offer two luxury cabins (Naw-Tee Pine and Sto-Nee Ridge) overlooking Lake Wanahoo. Sto-Nee Ridge is a 5 bed, 3 bath home that can accommodate 14+ guests. Naw-Tee Pine is a 3 bed, 3 bath home that can accommodate 10 guests.
Fremont Cabin on the Lake
This newly remodeled home offers 3 bedrooms (sleeps 6), 2.5 bathrooms and a second level deck to enjoy views of the lake. The living room is equipped with a Smart TV for those needing a break from the sun or to unwind at night. The kitchen provides all the comforts of home to cook. The outdoor space is plentiful including a large, covered patio with a grill, sand beach, firepit area and dock. Paddle boat, kayaks, life jackets and a swim mat are provided. A washer and dryer are provided.
Yutan House
This updated home sits in a quiet neighborhood and offers large, cozy rooms. The kitchen has everything needed to stay in and make meals. This 3 bedroom (sleeps 8), 3 bath offers spacious and homey living while you are away from your home. A full finished basement includes a pool table and TV with Roku. A hot tub is available for rent for an additional fee.
